Well it wasn’t a horrible day, nothing happened that can’t be fixed.  But it was not pleasant.  Serves me right for loving my new Blackberry so much.  Bad to get attached to things.  But I need to back up a little so that I can look back on this day and laugh one day.

I woke up early – unheard of for me on a Saturday, of course.  But I needed to pick Lori up at her house in Gilbert and take her to Denny’s by the airport and have breakfast with a friend of her friend, who gave Lori her Jeep to keep for a week while she goes to Pittsburgh.  Anyway,  I got up at 7, met Lori, all went well.  I came home and went back to sleep for a couple of hours and then went to Mom’s to take her grocery shopping.

Well that’s when things went wrong.  I bent down to take Patches’ sweater off of her and my new cell phone, which we in my jacket pocket, slipped out and fell – where?  RIGHT into the dogs’ water.  Well, everyone knows what happens to a cell phone that falls into water.  Fried.  The little sqare by the battey is bright red.  Well.  So I took it to the Verizon store and they quickly added the insurance to my account so I can file a claim for a new one.  I just loved that phone, too.  SO fortunately I had my old phone and they tranferred my service back to that for now.

The really hard part is that I JUST got that Blackberry!  So frustrating.  Well, no biggie, really, it will all work out, I’ll file the claim tomorrow and get a new one delivered.

In other news, Well, Barack Obama has gone and asked Rick Warren to do the invocation at his Inaguration.  Unbelievable.  Warren is filled with crap.  He supported Prop 8 and is a real enemy of gay rights.  I don’t understand Obama’s decision.  He claims that it isn’t a slight against gays.  But what are people supposed to think?  It certainly doesn’t say, “Hey, gay folks – I support you and your plight!”  I am saddened and disappointed in Obama at the moment.  I am still happy as can be that he won – it would take an awful lot to turn me against Barack Obama.  More than the likes of one useless hateful preacher.

So much for that.  Wow – I am watching “Wanted” – I wasn’t expecting much from it and that’s what I’m getting.  But it’s kind of fun – Angelina Jolie is almost always fun to watch.
